​      Kit is currently a Project Management Advisor in the FedEx Express Properties and Facilities Department and is managing the construction of the Transformation Program at the Memphis World Hub. In her thirty-four years with the company, she has been involved with many of the environmental challenges faced by the company, including environmental remediation and compliance projects, Brownfield site developments, sustainable building design, construction and management, and recycle program development.    
 
      While attending the University of Memphis, Kit started work at FedEx as a package handler in the Memphis Hub and was a package delivery driver. She has held multiple positions in the company including Operations Manager, Facility Management Representative for FedEx’s 900 acres of Memphis Hub properties, and Project Manager of the FedEx Express Metroplex at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport which boasts 175,000 square feet of Vegetative roofs. In the past year, Kit has managed the renovation and construction of three buildings submitted for LEED certification and is managing the construction of the new automated HUB expansion in Memphis.  Kit holds a B.A. in Arts and Communications and has earned certifications as a Professional Project Manager, Facility Management Administrator, and a Real Property Administrator.
